Biography
Junior Year (2023-24): Griffith went 2-0 at flight three doubles. She teamed with Grace Thomas to defeat Western Carolina, 6-1, and the Paladin duo held on for a 7-6(2) victory over Samford. She was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll and was honored as an ITA Scholar-Athlete.
Sophomore Year (2022-23): Griffith posted a 6-4, 6-3 win over UNCG at flight six singles and teamed with Madison Dillon to defeat UNCG, 6-1, at flight three doubles. She was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Freshman Year (2021-22): Did not compete for the Paladins.
Prep/Personal: A four-star recruit by www.tennisrecruiting.net, Griffith is the fourth-ranked player in North Carolina. Before transferring to Crossroads Flex High, she competed at Panther Creek High as a freshman, where she was awarded the Triangle 6 Athletic Conference Player of the Year award after winning the league's singles championship. She has also competed in track and field and is a member of DECA and the National Honor Society. Alexa Griffith was born on November 28, 2002, in South Lyon, Mich. She is the daughter of David and Joanna Griffith. Griffith is majoring in philosophy.
