Junior Year (2012-13): Oudin was selected to the All-Southern Conference second team at number three singles after registering a 13-8 overall mark and 9-1 league singles record, playing in the number two and number three positions. She picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win at number two against Georgia Southern to open the SoCon season then moved to number three, where she recorded a 6-7, 7-0, 1-0 victory versus #72 East Carolina. Beginning with the East Carolina match, Oudin won ten out of her next 11 matches, including five-consecutive victories to conclude the regular season. She held on to beat UNCG, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 on April 6, clinching a 4-3 team victory for the Paladins over the league-leading Spartans, then posted straight-sets wins against Elon, Western Carolina, and Charlotte before coming from behind for a 6-7, 6-4, 10-7 win over Davidson to finish out the regular season. In doubles play, Oudin tallied a 4-1 record, playing at all three doubles positions. She teamed with Margaret Boyette for league wins over Samford and Western Carolina. Oudin was named to the ITA All-Academic Team and the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll for the third consecutive year.
Sophomore Year (2011-12): Oudin recorded a 14-8 overall singles record and 7-2 SoCon mark in the middle of the Paladin line-up. She posted a 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 victory over #72 Florida International early in the season then won 13 out of 15 matches beginning February 26 with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Boston University at number four and concluding with a 6-1, 6-1 win versus Appalachian State in the opening round of the Southern Conference tournament. Oudin picked up eight consecutive straight-sets wins in the middle of the season before winning five out of six conference matches, also in straight-sets, to round out the year. In doubles play, Oudin was 4-12 overall and 3-3 in league play. She teamed with Margaret Boyette for back-to-back conference wins over Wofford and Elon at number two doubles. Oudin was named to the ITA All-Academic Team and the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
Freshman Year (2010-11): Oudin was honored as a member of the Southern Conference All-Freshman team after posting a 4-7 overall singles record and 1-2 singles mark in league matches. She started the season in the number three singles spot then moved into the number two position in mid-season. Oudin recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over Georgia Southern at number two singles to open league play and tallied a 6-3, 6-3 win versus Elon in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament. She notched a 5-6 overall doubles record and a perfect 2-0 mark against league opponents. Oudin teamed with Margaret Boyette for an 8-1 win over Georgia Southern and a 9-8(10-8) victory at Samford, both in the top doubles spot. She and Boyette posted an 8-5 win over College of Charleston at number one doubles in the SoCon Tournament. Oudin was named to the ITA All-Academic Team and was honored as a member of the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
Prep/Personal: Katherine Oudin played at The Walker School for coach Jan Steffen, where she compiled a record of 80-4 and was a three-time all-county selection at number one singles. The team MVP for four-straight years, she helped her team to the AA state championship in 2007 and 2008 and second place in the state tournament in 2009 and 2010. Oudin was a member of the cross country team as a freshman and sophomore and was chosen team MVP and co-captain. She was voted president of her junior class. Katherine Lauren Oudin was born September 23, 1991, in Marietta, Ga., to John and Leslie Oudin. Her twin sister, Melanie, is a professional tennis player. Oudin is majoring in health sciences.
