Prep/Personal: Kelsey Kinderknecht played under coach Ben Loeb at Rock Bridge High, where she competed in the number one singles position her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. She led her team to a state championship her senior season and helped the team to the state runner-up spot her freshman and junior years. Kinderknecht was honored as the USTPA Missouri Valley Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2010 and was nominated as the Women’s Intersport Network High School Sportswoman of the year in 2010. She qualified for the individual singles state championships three-consecutive seasons. She was honored as Valedictorian of her graduating class and was a member of the National Honor Society. Kelsey Kinderknecht was born on November 17, 1992, in Fresno, Calif., to Linda and Jim Kinderknecht. She intends to study health science.
