Freshman year (2026-27):  Doherty recorded an 8-4 overall singles record and 4-1 SoCon singles mark, playing primarily at flight six.  She came from behind to defeat Memphis, 4-6, 6-0, 6-1, and won at Florida Gulf Coast, 6-3, 7-6(1).  In the SoCon, Doherty fought for victories at UNCG (6-4, 2-6, 10-5) and at Mercer (6-3, 3-6, 10-8) then defeated Wofford and Chattanooga in straight sets.  Doherty recorded a 6-2, 6-3 advantage over Wofford in the SoCon semifinals.  Doherty teamed with Molly Robinson to go 4-1 at flight three in doubles action, with a perfect 4-0 record against SoCon opponents.  The Paladin duo defeated Samford, 7-6(4), and posted wins over UNCG, Mercer, and Wofford.  An ITA Scholar-Athlete, Doherty was also named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Prep/Personal:  Doherty was a British Tour semifinalist in 2024.  A three-time Berkshire County champion, she qualified for the Road to Wimbledon finals stage and was selected for the LTA regional performance pathway.  Doherty, who also competed in netball and track and field at Wycombe High, received the Manning Davenport Award and Scholarship twice for high performance tennis.
