Sophomore Year (2010-11): Maurice posted a 2-1 overall singles record and a 0-1 SoCon singles mark, playing in the number five and six positions. She posted a 6-1, 6-0 win over UNC Asheville at number five singles and notched a 6-4, 6-2 number six victory over #35 SMU. Maurice also had a 2-1 overall doubles record, including a 1-1 doubles record against SoCon opponents. She teamed with Monica Arguello for an 8-1 win over UNC Asheville in the second doubles spot then paired with Margaret Boyette for an 8-2 victory over Western Carolina in the top doubles match. Maurice was honored as a member of the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
Freshman Year (2009-10): Maurice broke into the Paladin lineup as a freshman, seeing significant playing time at number three doubles. She posted a 10-10 overall record for doubles, including a 5-5 mark in conference matches. Maurice teamed with fellow rookie Michele Stanford for a 5-4 league mark at number three doubles. She combined with Jennifer Betts for a win over UNC Asheville at number two doubles. Maurice recorded a 1-1 singles record, with win against UNC Asheville in the number six singles match. She was named to the ITA All-Academic team and the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
Prep/Personal: Olivia Maurice played at Wheeler High School for head coach Jenny Boucher, where she won three team MVP awards. She was also a member of the varsity cross country and basketball teams and played recreational lacrosse. A member of the National Honor Society, she was a National Merit Scholar and an AP Scholar. Olivia Jane Maurice was born on December 6, 1990, in Marietta, Ga. She is the daughter of Laura and Richard Maurice. She plans to major in pre-engineering.
