Charlotte Sadler is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Furman women’s lacrosse program. She will work primarily with the Paladins’ goalkeepers and defense.
“I’m incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to join the Furman family,” Sadler stated. “Working with both Rachel Shuck Whitten and Sydney McClure is something I am immensely excited for. I am looking forward to building relationships with our student-athletes, helping them succeed both on and off the field, and continue building a championship culture!”
A native of Rochester, N.Y., Sadler played for Whitten at Coastal Carolina from 2022-26 and finished her career as the program's all-time leader in games played and started, and minutes played by a goalie. She finished her career second in program history for saves (476), save percentage (.476) and wins (28) while helping the Chanticleers to their first-ever ASUN Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024.
She is Coastal Carolina's first ASUN Goalkeeper of the Year, earning the honor in 2026, and was voted to the IWLCA Senior All-Star Team in 2026. Sadler received All-ASUN recognition three times including first team honors in 2024 and 2026. A two-time ASUN All-Tournament pick, her 19 saves against Liberty in 2025 are a program single-game record and tallied nine versus Jacksonville as the Chanticleers clinched the 2024 ASUN Women's Lacrosse Championship.
Academically, Sadler was a member of the ASUN Academic Honor Roll and IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.

"I have gotten to coach her for the past five years and have watched her grow as a player as well as watched her passion for lacrosse grow. I look forward to seeing her energy and excitement translate now onto the coaching side of our sport. I have no doubt she will help us build a championship team!"
Sadler graduated from Brighton High School in Rochester and lettered all four years in lacrosse. A three-time all-county selection, she was a member of the 2018 NYS Section V 2 and NYS Regional championship teams. Sadler garnered Section V Sectional All-Tournament citations twice and, in 2019, was named to the Democrat and Chronicle Top 50 Players to Watch list. As a senior in 2021, she picked up the Klotz-Pollack Sportsmanship Award.
She graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2024 with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. Sadler later earned her Master’s in Sports Management from Coastal Carolina 2026.
