Tyler Rosenberger

Tyler Rosenberger was named Furman's Associate Athletics Director on June 13, 2023. He oversees all aspects of compliance and academics as well as being the department’s liaison to admissions, enrollment services, financial aid, and housing.

In addition, Tyler is currently the sport supervisor for football and softball, having served as the sport supervisor for men’s soccer and men’s basketball in the past. An active member of NACDA/NAAC since 2015, Tyler also serves on the NAAC Professional Development Committee.

Rosenberger came to Greenville after spending nearly three years as the assistant athletic director for compliance at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. He was named the assistant athletic director for compliance at Gardner-Webb in September of 2020 and handled all aspects of the department which included assisting coaches, student-athletes, and staff with interpretations of NCAA rules and policies that ensure compliance with both the NCAA and Big South Conference. Rosenberger was also sport administrator for men's soccer, men's Wrestling, and baseball.

Prior to going to Gardner-Webb, Rosenberger served as a compliance coordinator for eligibility at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla., from 2018-20.

He began his career by spending three years (2014-16) at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga. Rosenberger started out as a compliance intern from 2014-15 before moving up to compliance coordinator for financial aid, a role he served from 2015-16.  

A native of Jacksonville, Fla., he earned his undergraduate degree in sports management in 2013 from the University of Florida and later added a Master of Science in sports administration from Georgia State University in 2015.

Rosenberger and his wife, Taylor, are parents to their two sons, Jackson and Cooper.
