CHARLESTON, South Carolina - Freshman Chibuzo Aguocha tallied 24 kills, a .370 attack percentage, seven digs and four blocks in leading the Lady Paladin volleyball team to a 32-30, 20-30, 30-26, 30-23 victory over The Citadel Friday night at McAllister Fieldhouse in Charleston, S.C.

In addition to Aguocha's stellar performance, sophomore Whitney Purser contributed 23 kills and six digs, Ally Hock added 12 kills, and libero Rosey Cashman tallied 12 digs. Setter Courtney Stewardson racked up 62 assists as the Lady Paladin team hit .284 for the evening.

The Bulldogs were led by Audra Ritchie's 17 kills. Marina Daniel added 12 kills, Stefanie Farris totaled 10 kills, and Samantha Parisi posted 15 digs.

With the win, the Lady Paladins improved to 7-7 overall and 2-1 in the Southern Conference. Furman will face the College of Charleston Saturday in a 2 p.m. match at John Kresse Arena.
