GREENVILLE, North Carolina - The Furman volleyball team fell to 2-2 Saturday with a 3-0 (30-28, 30-19, 30-22) loss to the Mercer Bears in the Lady Paladins' final match of the ECU Pirate Invitational. Julia Fredrickson, a senior middle blocker from Dallas, Texas, totaled 14 Lady Paladin kills, while freshman Chibuzo Aguocha added 11. Sophomore Ally Hock totaled a team-best nine digs, with setter Molly Rybak claiming 31 assists. The Bears were led by Katie Plummer's 16 kills and 10 digs, while Jen Smith added 12 kills. The Bears outblocked the Lady Paladins 8.0 to 2.0 for the difference in the match.
