Box Score CLEMSON, S.C. -- #51 Clemson defeated Furman, 7-0, Friday afternoon in men's tennis action at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center in Clemson, S.C.  Paladin sophomore Tyler Droll and junior Watson George combined for an 8-6 victory over Wesley Moran and Moritz Dettinger at number three doubles for Furman's lone win.
Derek DiFazio and Kevin Galloway teamed up for an 8-5 win over Paladin senior Sawyer Duncan and sophomore Andrew Mellow at number one doubles, while Yannick Maden and Bologna defeated Furman freshmen Alex Christ and Joel Cook, 8-1, in the number two doubles match to claim the doubles point for the Tigers.
Clemson (9-2) swept the singles matches, with Maden defeating Duncan, 6-4, 6-1, in the first singles slot, and DiFazio handing Droll a 6-3, 6-3 loss at number two singles.  In the third singles match, Galloway defeated Mellow 6-2, 6-4, and Gerardo Meza beat sophomore Robbie Aru, 6-3, 6-0 in the fourth singles match up.  Moran defeated Cook 6-0, 6-0 at number five singles, and Bolona had a 6-2, 6-2 win over George in the sixth singles spot.
Furman (0-8) returns home Sunday to face Marquette in a noon match at the Mickel Tennis Center.
