Lissek, a native Sewau, Germany, was called on to turn away three Spartan shots in the final 20 minutes of regulation to force overtime. UNCG managed a 5-1 edge in shots during the two 10-minute periods, but Furman's defense did not allow a shot on goal down the stretch.
The clean sheet was Lissek's sixth of the season. UNCG's Stephen Moffitt stopped two shots to earn a shutout for the Spartans.
