Men's Soccer Hosts UNC Greensboro Tuesday In Battle For SoCon Lead

Kickoff Is Set For 7:00 p.m.

Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team looks to remain perfect in Southern Conference play when it hosts league rival UNC Greensboro for a 7 p.m. kickoff Tuesday on Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium.
 
The Paladins enter the match at 8-5-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the SoCon after victories over ETSU and VMI to start league play. UNC Greensboro comes to Greenville at 5-7-1 overall and in first place in the SoCon at 3-0-0 following its 3-0 victory over Wofford in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday.
 
The Spartans hold a 19-16-4 lead in the all-time series between the schools, including a victory at UNCG Stadium in the 2018 regular season finale, but Furman claimed a 3-0 triumph over UNCG in Johnson City, Tenn., in the SoCon Championship Match to capture its third league title in the last five years.
 
Tickets for Tuesday's match are $5 and can be purchased online at FurmanPaladins.com or at the Stone Stadium entrance beginning one hour prior to kickoff. Tuesday is Pups at the Pitch Night and all fans are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends. Click here to register your pup.
