WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Senior Natalie Srinivasan (+1) shot even par to move into a tie for 17th and pace the Furman women's golf team (+17) Saturday in round two of the Landfall Tradition at the par 72, 6,140 yard Pete Dye Course at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.

A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Srinivasan teed off on No. 10 and birdied two of her first four holes, No. 11 and No. 13, to turn at two-under.  She parred eight holes on the front to conclude the day six holes back of Alabama's Angelica Moresco (-5) who holds a two-stroke lead over the field with a two-day total of 69-70=139.

Freshman Anna Morgan (+2) carded a 73 with a team-high four birdies, including three on the back nine, on Saturday to tie for 25th, while junior Carly Burkhardt (+6) recorded an even 72 with three birdies, including consecutive birdies on No. 5 and No. 6, to move up into a tie for 47th.  

Freshman Caroline Wrigley (+9) eagled the par-5 No. 18 and added a birdie on No. 4 for a second-round 77, tying for 65th, and sophomore Sarah-Eve Rhéaume (+16) posted an 83 on Saturday to tie for 92nd.  

Junior Caitlin Cotterill (+14), who is playing as an individual, scored a 79 with a birdie on No. 11.  She enters Sunday's final round tied for 87th.

No. 13 Alabama (-13) paced the field with a 278 on Saturday to extend its lead to 11 strokes over ninth-ranked South Carolina (-2).  No. 37 Florida State (+3) sits in third after two rounds, while 19th-ranked Illinois (+5) and No. 16 Oklahoma State (+5) are tied for fourth.  The Paladins (+17) moved up five spots to 12th place.   

The 54-hole tournament will conclude on Sunday with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start.  Furman will tee off on holes No. 9 through No. 11 and will play in a group with UCF and North Carolina.  Admission to the tournament is free and fans are welcome.  Results and live tournament scoring are available via www.FurmanPaladins.com and www.golfstat.com.
