GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman is ranked 15th in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches Poll, which was released today.

Furman (7-4, 6-2 SoCon) polled 277 points, trailing No. 14 Villanova, which collected 322 points.

The Paladins are joined in this week's Top 25 by Southern Conference member Wofford, which climbed to 17th after downing Furman, 24-7, on Saturday in Spartanburg.

Reigning national champion North Dakota State remained No. 1 in the poll followed by James Madison, Montana, Sacramento State, and South Dakota State, who round out the Top 5.

Furman returns home to entertain Point University this Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. game.  Point, which is coached by former Furman assistant coach and standout cornerback Julius Dixon, represents the Paladins' first non-Division I foe since 2008.
