Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team returns to action on Thursday with a 6 p.m. kickoff versus the Campbell Camels in Buies Creek, N.C. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Furman improved to 1-1-0 on the season with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over College of Charleston on Sunday afternoon in the finale of the CofC Under Armour Invitational at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Senior
Caitlyn Reilly, who garnered Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors, netted both goals for the Paladins, including the winning tally in the 75
th minute.
Thursday's match marks the second all-time meeting between the Paladins and Camels. Goalkeeper
Kellsey Weaver stopped three shots to record the shutout as Furman blanked the Camels, 2-0, in the first meeting on September 2, 2018, at Stone Stadium.
Campbell (0-0-1) is no stranger to SoCon competition. The Camels rallied to earn a 3-3 draw versus defending SoCon champion UNCG this past weekend in their regular season opener after claiming a 2-1 victory over The Citadel in exhibition action.

The Paladins will open the 2019 home schedule on Sunday, September 1, when they host Elon.
