HANAHAN, S.C. -- Senior Natalie Srinivasan (-2) recorded a final round 74 to tie for 16th and lead the Furman women's golf team to a share of fifth place Tuesday at the 16th Annual Cougar Classic at the par 72, 6,301 yard Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, S.C.  

The Paladins, who moved up two places in the final day of competition, were two-under with birdies in the third round.

A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Srinivasan teed off of No. 7 in the shotgun start and birdied her first hole.  She turned at one-over then added two additional birdies on the back to pace the Paladins.  Vanderbilt's Auston Kim (-16) fired a 66 in the third round to pull away from the field, taking individual honors by seven strokes and setting a new tournament 54-hole record of 200.  

Freshman Anna Morgan (+1) scored even par with four birdies in the final round to tie for 29th, and sophomore Kyra Cox (+2) posted a team-high five birdies and fired a 70 in the final round, tying for 34th. 

Junior Madison Moosa (+4) shot a 77 with two birdies in the final round to tie for 43rd, while freshman Caroline Wrigley (+5) tied Cox with a Paladin-best 70 in the final round.  Wrigley recorded four birdies and tied for 47th.    

No. 7 Vanderbilt (-27) led the field at 11-under in Tuesday's final round to take a one-stroke victory over ninth-ranked Wake Forest (-26).  The Commodores established a tournament record with a three-round total of 827.  No. 8 Florida (-24) finished third, and 18th-ranked Arkansas (-9) claimed fourth place.  The Paladins (-2) tied with UCF (-2) to complete the top-five. 

Furman will compete at the Glass City Invitational in Toledo, Ohio, Sept. 16-17.
