TOLEDO, OHIO -- Senior Natalie Srinivasan (-5) birdied four of her final eight holes to win the inaugural Glass City Invitational Tuesday at the par 72, 6,249 yard Iverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.

Srinivasan, a native of Spartanburg, S.C., held a one-stroke lead heading into Tuesday's final round.  After parring her first five holes, she bogeyed No. 6 and No. 8 to turn at 2-over.  Despite a bogey on No. 10, Srinivasan maintained a one-stroke lead before recording consecutive birdies on No. 11 and No. 12 to push her advantage to three strokes.  She extended her lead further with back to back birdies on No. 16 and No. 17 then parred the final hole for the four-stroke victory.

"I am really proud of Natalie," said Furman head coach Jeff Hull.  "This was her second career win and one of the largest individual wins since I have been a part of this program.  She played really solid all three days, but birdieing four holes on the back nine today on a very difficult course was just outstanding."

"I am so excited to get my second individual win at Inverness this week," said Srinivasan.  "The course was very tough, and it challenged my focus.  It was awesome to have Coach Hull out there with me and for the team to be so supportive, and I am very grateful for this opportunity."

Florida's Sierra Brooks (-1) tallied a final-round 74 to finish in second place, followed by Sophia Trombetta (E) of Michigan in third place.

Junior Carly Burkhardt (+5), who is playing as an individual, tied for 15th after scoring a final-round 74.  She recorded three birdies on Tuesday, including consecutive birdies on No. 16 and No. 17.  Freshman Caroline Wrigley (+9) recorded a 75 with a birdie on No. 12 in the final round to tie for 31st.

Freshman Anna Morgan (+12) tied for 46th after posting a 76 with a birdie on No. 16, while junior Madison Moosa (+13) tied for 48th with an 80 on Tuesday.  Sophomore Kyra Cox (+17) finished 59th.  In Tuesday's final round she scored three birdies on the front nine, with consecutive birdies on No. 4 and No. 5, for a final round 78.

No. 8 Florida (+6) won the tournament by four strokes over Michigan (+10).  No. 19 Michigan State (+15) finished third (+15), followed by Baylor (+17) in fourth place.  Sixteenth-ranked Illinois (+18) took fifth place, while Furman (+23) finished sixth.

Furman will entertain 16 teams and look to defend last year's title at the 2019 Lady Paladin Invitational, which will be held Sept. 27-29 at the Furman University Golf Course in Greenville.
