Greenville, S.C. – Furman puts its undefeated home record on the line Tuesday night when it renews one of the oldest soccer rivalries in the region with a 7 p.m. kickoff versus seventh-ranked Clemson on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.
Tickets for Tuesday's match are $5 and can be purchased at FurmanPaladins.com or at the Stone Stadium entrance beginning one hour prior to kickoff. The match will be streamed live on the SoCon Digital Network with live statistics provided through StatBroadcast. Furman improved to 5-2-1 on the season and 3-0-0 at home with a 4-1 victory over USC Upstate Saturday evening at Stone Stadium.

Tuesday's match will mark the 57
th all-time meeting between the Paladins and Tigers in a series that started with a 1-0 Furman victory in 1934. Clemson leads the series 41-12-3, including a 5-2 decision at Historic Riggs Field in Clemson, S.C., last season. The Tigers have won the last two encounters after Furman claimed victories in five of six meetings from 2008-13.
Clemson is coming off of a 3-1 victory over nationally-ranked Duke in ACC play on Friday night that improved the Tigers, ranked seventh in last week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25, to 7-0-0 on the season.
Following Tuesday's match, Furman will travel to face Presbyterian on Saturday night before entertaining No. 10 Charlotte at Stone Stadium on Tuesday, October 1.
