Furman SoCon Volleyball Schedule

Greenville, S.C. – The Furman volleyball team will play 16 Southern Conference matches during the 2020 season, which begins in February of 2021, the league office announced today.

The Paladins are slated for eight home matches this season including four of their first six at Alley Gymnasium. Furman begins its conference season on February 4 against Wofford in Spartanburg. After a nearly two-week break, the Paladins play their first two home matches February 14-15 versus Mercer and Samford. Furman then travels to The Citadel (February 18) before returning home February 21-22 to host Chattanooga and East Tennessee State. The Paladins close out the month with a road match at Western Carolina (February 28).

Furman opens the month of March on the road against UNC Greensboro (March 1) and then hosts Wofford three days later (March 4). The Paladins conclude the regular season with four of their final seven matches on the road versus Samford (March 14), Mercer (March 15), East Tennessee State (March 21) and Chattanooga (March 22). Furman's final three home matches for the year come against The Citadel (March 18), UNC Greensboro (March 28) and Western Carolina (March 29) in the regular season finale.

The SoCon Volleyball Championship will consist of the conference's top-four teams and be played April 2-3 at the site of the number one seed.

Ticket availability and information will be announced at a later date. The Paladins' non-conference schedule will also be revealed as soon as it is finalized.
