Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's basketball team looks for the season sweep of Western Carolina on Thursday evening traveling to Cullowhee, N.C. for a 7 p.m. tipoff inside the Ramsey Center.

The Paladins (16-10, 6-5 SoCon) play their final two road games of the season this week beginning on Thursday evening. Furman is coming off a 67-47 win at home over East Tennessee State last Saturday in its Play4Kay game. The Paladins finished the game shooting 54.0 percent (27-of-50) from the field and 8-for-12 (66.7 percent) behind the 3-point line. Furman also limited ETSU to 30.4 percent (17-of-56) shooting overall and 11.8 percent (2-for-17) from 3-point range. The Paladins held a 42-22 advantage in rebounding and 34-22 in points in the paint.
Milica Manojlovic tied her career-high of 19 points to lead Furman offensively while
Tierra Hodges added her 13
th double-double of the season with 12 points and a season-high 15 rebounds.
Lindsey Taylor and
Le'Jzae Davidson both had 12 points.
Grace van Rij pulled down a team-best seven rebounds.
Davidson leads the Paladins on offense this season averaging 14.2 points per game. Hodges contributes 11.7 points and a team-high 10.2 rebounds per game. Manojlovic is dishing out a team-best 4.9 assists per game.
Western Carolina currently sits at 5-20 overall and 2-8 in the SoCon after falling 72-61 to UNC Greensboro last Saturday. Jewel Smalls leads the Catamounts this season averaging a double-double of 12.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Lauren LaPlant contributes 11.4 points per contest. Western Carolina is under the direction of first-year head coach Kiley Hill.
Furman leads the all-time series over the Catamounts 45-35 after winning the first meeting of the season, 69-53, on January 25 at Timmons Arena.
The Paladins head to UNC Greensboro on Saturday afternoon for their final regular season road game. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
