GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's tennis team will travel to Lynchburg, Va., this weekend to take on Liberty and VCU.  First serve versus Liberty is set for Saturday at 1 p.m., and the neutral site match between the Paladins and VCU will begin at noon on Sunday.

Furman enters the weekend with an 8-3 record after defeating Marshall, 5-2, and Emmanuel, 7-0, on Feb. 9.  Senior Katarina Kozarov, the two-time reigning Southern Conference Player of the Year, ranks 14th nationally in singles.  In doubles, Kozarov and sophomore Julia Adams rank 27th nationally, while Adams and sophomore Madison Dillon are 38th in the latest rankings.

Saturday's match versus the Flames marks just the third meeting between the two teams.  Furman holds a 2-0 series advantage after beating Liberty, 5-2, in Greenville last season.  The Flames are 4-3 overall after beating Richmond, 5-1, on Saturday.

On Sunday, Furman will take on VCU for only the second time in program history.  The Rams, who sport a 5-3 record this season, defeated the Paladins, 5-2, when the teams met in Greenville in 2011.  VCU will face Wisconsin on Friday before squaring off against the Paladins on Sunday.
