Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team returns to the road Saturday evening when it visits instate rival Wofford for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Snyder Field in Spartanburg.

The Paladins (2-7-1, 1-2 SoCon) are coming off a 2-2 draw to Bob Jones on Tuesday at Stone Stadium.

Jake Raine both netted goals for Furman while
Dylan Lane set a new career-high with two assists. Raine led the Paladins with seven shots including five on goal.
Ben Roberts grabbed a total of three saves in goal.
Furman attempted a season-high 34 shots against Bob Jones, and led 14-5 in attempts on goal and 11-2 in corner kicks.
Raine leads the Paladins with 11 points this season on five goals and one assist.
Miles Fenton has dished out a team-best three assists. Roberts contributes 44 saves, a 1.80 GAA and .698 save percentage.
Wofford currently sits at 3-7-1 on the season and 1-1-1 in league play following a 1-0 loss at North Carolina on Tuesday. Brandon Oddy leads the Terriers offensively with 13 points on six goals and one assist. Mitchell Myers adds seven points on two goals and a team-leading three assists. In goal, Joshua Old has compiled 32 saves, a 1.30 GAA and .711 save percentage. Wofford is under the direction of third-year head coach Joel Tyson.
Furman is facing the Terriers for the 55
th time in program history and leads the all-time series 38-14-2.
The Paladins are back in action on Tuesday, October 19 when they host Duke at 7 p.m.
