Furman's Miller Named AP All-American

Junior Tight End Becomes 11th Two-Time All-American In Furman History

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman tight end Ryan Miller has been named a 2021 Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) All-American, it was announced today.

Miller, a 6-foot-2, 221-pound redshirt junior, was named to the AP Third Team, making him a two-time All-American after landing first team honors during the spring season.

The Jackson, Tenn., product backed up his spring with a superb fall campaign, catching a team leading 43 passes for 749 yards and seven touchdowns. The consensus first team All-Southern Conference selection averaged a league best 17.4 yards per catch, topped by an 87-yard scoring grab in the Paladins' 29-18, season opening win over North Carolina A&T.

Miller is the 11th two-time All-America football player in Furman history.

He has 79 receptions in his career for 1,384 yards and 16 touchdowns, his receiving yards ranking 18th and scoring grabs tying for fourth all-time at Furman.
