GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's women's basketball team returns home following a three-game road stretch to take on Stetson on Saturday. Tipoff for the ESPN+ streamed event set for 2:00 p.m. at Timmons Arena.
The contest will highlight a Toy Drive, sponsored by Paladin women's basketball, to benefit the Church of God Home for Children and supporting Freedom Fighters Upstate SC. Collection bins will be positioned in the Timmons Arena lobby.
Tickets to Saturday's game are $5 and can be purchased online

The clash marks the first meeting between Furman (5-3) and Stetson (4-3) in women's basketball.
The Paladins split a pair of games last weekend at Cal's Raising The B.A.R. Invitational, falling to host California, 82-73, in the tournament's opening round before rebounding to beat San Diego State, 71-62, in Saturday's consolation game.
On Wednesday Furman took on Radford and played the host Highlanders to a draw for 37 minutes before fading in an eventual 73-61 loss. Tierra Hodges, meanwhile, contributed 18 points and 13 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.
Speaking of Hodges, the Covington, Ga., product and team leader in scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebounding (11.3 rpg), on Wednesday was named Southern Conference Player of the Month after posting a solid first three weeks to the season. That stretch included a league player of the week scroll and career high 25-point performance versus California that helped her net all-tournament honors. She currently ranks 15th in career scoring (1,241 points) and fourth in rebounding (991) in Furman history.
Sophomore guard
Tate Walters is also off to a solid start this season and heads into the Stetson game sporting solid 14.1 ppg and 5.0 rpg averages. The Buford, Ga., native who on Monday was named SoCon Player of the Week, leads the squad in 3-point shooting (.441, 15x34), assists (21), steals (13).
