Furman Announces Ticketing, Attendance Policy For Feb. 20 Football Season Opener

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman University Athletics announced today its ticketing and attendance policy for the Paladins' Feb. 20 football home season opener versus Western Carolina.

Furman will operate in Phase IV, which allows football season ticket holders to attend the Feb. 20 contest, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Paladin Stadium.  In addition, tickets for parents and families of Furman players, and for a limited number of students, faculty, and staff, will be provided for the game.  There will be no game-day ticket sales.

Parking will be available one hour prior to kick-off and only accessible via the university's Duncan Chapel Road entrance. Tailgating will not be permitted until further notice.

Masks will be required and temperature checks will take place prior to entering Paladin Stadium.

Furman's attendance policies, including Phase IV, are based on NCAA, Southern Conference, and state guidelines, which currently allow limited attendance for large events. This includes everyone in attendance – student-athletes, coaches, game day staff, media, families, students, university employees, alumni, and fans.

All game day attendance policies are subject to change at any time based on the health of our community and recommendations and guidance from DHEC and from the university's COVID Response Steering Committee and Public Health and Safety Advisory Group.

For further information regarding ticketing policies or becoming a season ticket holder, please contact the Furman Ticket Office (864) 294-3099, or click here.

Fans not able to attend Furman home games can follow the Paladins on the radio via any one of ESPN Upstate's four powerhouse stations: 97.7 FM/1330 AM in Greenville, and 97.1 FM/950 AM in Spartanburg.  Broadcasts can also be accessed via RADIO.COM, the fastest growing digital audio app in the U.S., as well as through FurmanPaladins.com and Tune-In.

In addition, all four Furman home contests are slated to be live streamed via ESPN+.
