Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team opens its quest for another Southern Conference championship when the Paladins face ETSU in the league opener for both teams on Friday at 7 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium in Johnson City, Tenn.
The Paladins enter the league opener at 2-1-0 after a 3-0 loss at Gardner-Webb in their last match on March 3. Furman opened the season with a 3-0 win over South Carolina and a 2-0 shutout of USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C.

Jake Raine lead the Paladins with two goals and an assist each, while redshirt-freshman
Sam Miller has added two assists. Redshirt-senior goalkeeper
Ben Hale has posted two shutouts in three outings.
The Bucs are 0-3-1 on the season, but ETSU earned a scoreless draw versus VCU at Summers-Taylor Stadium in its last outing on February 27.
