Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team plays its final non-conference game of the season Friday evening when it travels to Elon, N.C. for a 7 p.m. kickoff against the Elon Phoenix from Rudd Field.

The Paladins (4-1-1) earned their first draw of the season on September 10, finishing in a 2-2 tie against Georgia State at Stone Stadium.
Kyndal Anderson provided her team-leading fourth goal of the season while
Nieva Gaither scored her first.
Isabella Gutierrez and
Jasmine Greene both collected an assist.
Addison Corn recorded a season-best six saves in goal.
Furman held a 21-19 advantage in shots, and 10-8 in attempts on goal, while also leading 7-2 in corner kicks.
Anderson leads the Paladins offensively with eight points on four goals, while Gaither contributes six points on one goal and a team-leading four assists. Corn has compiled 13 saves, a 0.54 GAA and .867 save percentage.
Elon currently sits at 4-3 on the season following a 1-0 victory at American on September 12. The Phoenix have also picked up wins over George Washington, UNC Asheville and Gardner-Webb. Sarah Bevington, Kayla Hodges and Lydia Totten each lead the team with four points on two goals. Abby Fusca has dished out a team-high three assists. In goal, McKenna Dalfonso has 20 saves, a 1.17 GAA and .714 save percentage. Elon is under the direction of fourth-year head coach Neil Payne.
Furman is facing the Phoenix for the 18
th time in program history and leads the all-time series 12-4-1. The Paladins earned a 3-0 victory over Elon in the last meeting between the two teams on September 1, 2019 in Greenville.
Furman kicks off its SoCon schedule on Friday, September 24 hosting Wofford at 7 p.m. from Stone Stadium.
