Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team is back at Stone Stadium on Saturday evening when it remains in SoCon play hosting the Belmont Bruins at 7 p.m.

Tickets for Saturday's contest are $5 and can be purchased at www.furmanpaladins.com or at the Stone Stadium entrance one hour prior to kickoff. Tickets for Furman students are free with their student ID.
The Paladins (1-5, 0-1 SoCon) are playing for the first time since September 18 when they opened their SoCon schedule on the road at Mercer. Furman was initially scheduled to play at UNC Asheville on Tuesday but was rescheduled to October 27 due to inclement weather.
The Paladins dropped their conference opener to Mercer, 1-0, last Saturday.
Ben Roberts registered a career-high eight saves in the contest highlighted by seven in the first half.
Callum Holland attempted a team-best two shots and was one of six players to have one attempt on goal. Furman led 5-3 in corner kicks.
Jake Raine leads the Paladins on offense with five points on two goals and one assist.
Miles Fenton has dished out a team-leading two assists. Roberts contributes 30 saves, a 1.75 GAA and .732 save percentage.
Belmont (4-2-1, 1-0 SoCon) began conference play on September 18 defeating East Tennessee State 1-0 in Nashville, Tenn. Niccolo Dagnoni leads the Bruins offensively with seven points on two goals and three assists. In goal, Drew Romig has 24 saves, a 0.81 GAA and .800 save percentage. Belmont is under the direction of third-year head coach David Costa.
Furman is facing the Bruins for the 12
th time in program history and leads the all-time series 9-2. The teams played twice last season with the Paladins going 1-1. Furman won 3-0 during the regular season in Nashville while Belmont defeated the Paladins 3-1 in Greenville during the SoCon Men's Soccer Championship.
Furman returns to non-conference play on Wednesday, September 29 traveling to Charleston, S.C. for a 6 p.m. kickoff at College of Charleston.
