Upstate Community Night, United FC Night Highlight Furman's Saturday Home Tilt Versus Wofford

Kickoff Set For 7 P.M. And Admission Is Free

Greenville, S.C. – The Furman Paladins return to Seagraves Field and Stone Soccer Stadium on Saturday night when they host the Wofford Terriers for Upstate Community Night and United FC Night. Kickoff between the Southern Conference rivals is set for 7 p.m.

Admission is free to Saturday night's match, which will not be streamed. Live statistics will be available through StatBroadcast at FurmanPaladins.com.

The Paladins enter the weekend at 5-3-4 overall and 0-1-1 in league play following a 1-1 draw at former SoCon foe Davidson on Wednesday night. Senior Dylan Lane netted his first goal of the campaign versus the Wildcats, while fellow senior Ben Roberts stopped nine shots to help earn the tie.

Saturday's contest marks the 57th all-time meeting between the Paladins and Terriers with Furman holding a commanding 40-14-2 series lead. Furman is 5-0-1 in its last six meetings versus the Terriers, including a 3-1 regular season triumph in Spartanburg, S.C., and 3-1 SoCon Tournament win in Greenville during the 2021 season.

The Terriers are 3-6-2 overall and sport a 0-1-1 league worksheet after falling 3-0 to ETSU this past weekend.

Furman continues its homestand on Tuesday evening when it hosts the Presbyterian Blue Hose in the non-conference finale at Stone Stadium.
