Greenville, S.C. – Furman men's basketball's Sunday, January 22, game at Wofford and Sunday, February 19, home date versus ETSU will be televised live on ESPNU, it was announced on Wednesday morning by the Southern Conference.
 
The matchup between the Paladins and Terriers, originally scheduled for January 21, will be the third of five games in the SoCon's regular season ESPNU schedule and is set to tip at 4 p.m. at Richardson Indoor Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C. The spotlight focuses on Timmons Arena in the final game of the five-game SoCon ESPNU package when the Paladins entertain ETSU for a 6 p.m. game on February 19 in Greenville, S.C. The contest was originally slated for February 18.
 
Furman is already set to appear on the ESPN family of networks several times during the 2022-23 season. All three games at the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic are scheduled to be broadcast on either ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNEWS. The Paladins' December visit to face the North Carolina State Wolfpack at PNC Arena is also slated to air on the ACC Network.
 
Three SoCon tournament games will air on ESPN networks, with both semifinals on Sunday, March 5, on either ESPN2 or ESPNU and the championship game on Monday, March 6, on ESPN. On-air talent for each contest will be assigned by ESPN.
 
Coming off a 22-12 overall record and 12-6 SoCon mark a year ago, Furman opens its season in Timmons Arena on Monday, November 7, versus North Greenville before the Paladins entertain perennial mid-major power Belmont on Friday, November 11. Penn State will provide the opposition when the Paladins open play in the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic on November 17, in Charleston, S.C.
