Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's basketball team will make two appearances this coming season on the Ingles SoCon Game of the Week, which will air on Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., affiliates throughout the league's six-state footprint, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
 
The Ingles SoCon Game of the Week will feature Furman taking on UNC Greensboro on Sunday, January 29 in a 3 p.m. tip-off at the Greensboro Coliseum. On Saturday, February 11, Nextstar will air the Paladins' home contest versus Western Carolina at Timmons Arena. Tip-off versus the Catamounts is set for 2 p.m. A "wildcard" matchup will be selected for broadcast on Saturday, February 25, the final day of the regular season.
 
In addition to the 10-game regular season package, all four quarterfinal round matchups at the Ingles Southern Conference Men's Basketball Championship and the finals of the SoCon Women's Basketball Championship will also air live on Nextstar affiliates.
 
Each game in the package will also air concurrently on ESPN+, and all 10 SoCon men's basketball programs will be featured at some point during the season.
 
Nexstar affiliates with the opportunity to air games are: ECBD (Charleston), WBTW (Myrtle Beach), WGHP (Greensboro/High Point), WJHL (Johnson City), WMYT (Charlotte), WWCW (Lynchburg/Roanoke) and WYCW (Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville). Although not a Nexstar station, WMUB (Macon), Mercer University Broadcasting, will also air select contests.
 
The Paladins open the season in Timmons Arena on Monday, November 7, versus North Greenville before entertaining Missouri Valley Conference member Belmont on Friday, November 11. Penn State will provide the opposition when the Paladins open play in the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic on November 17, in Charleston, S.C.
