GREENVILLE, S.C -- Furman's women's basketball returns to action on Sunday when it plays host to Radford in a 2:00 p.m. ESPN+ live streamed contest at Timmons Arena.
Furman (6-6) has dropped its last two contests, including a 75-69 home verdict to Kennesaw State on Thursday.
Radford (4-5) knocked Oueens, 73-57, on Thursday to halt a modest two-game skid.
The Highlanders claimed a 73-61 win over the Paladins a year ago at Radford in the first meeting between the two programs.
Furman is paced on the stat sheet by freshman guard
Jaelyn Acker (14.4 ppg), who is coming off a 20-point performance against Kennesaw State.  The Richfield, Wisc., product has proven effective from 3-point range, where she is making 36.0 percent of her attempts (32x89), and has been superb at the free throw line, draining 33-of-35 chances (.943%), including a school record 32 straight before missing her final attempt in Thursday's contest.

Grace van Rij (13.9 ppg) has also been productive as scorer and on the glass (6.9 rpg). Â Â The Knoxville, Tenn., native ranks fourth in the SoCon in field goal percentage (.521%).
Head coach
Jackie Carson has gotten good production from several other players, most notably freshman forward
Sydney Ryan (9.5 ppg), sophomore forward
Jada Session (8.7 ppg, 8.0 rpg). Â A player who holds a big key to the Paladins' improvement is junior forward
Sydney James (6.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg), who is looking to break out from a slow start due to early season injury.
