RALEIGH, N.C. -- Sophomore Megan Marvin placed seventh to lead the Furman outdoor track and field teams Friday in the second day of the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C.
Marvin, who hails from Chapel Hill, N.C., posted a personal-best time of 4:17.09 to win her heat and place among the top times in the NCAA East Region after one weekend of competition.Â
Sophomore Madelynne Cadeau crossed the line in the women's 5,000m in 16:33.45, taking 34th place. Â
On the men's side in Raleigh, senior Noah Dolhare posted a time of 29:48.92 in the 10,000m
Also on Friday, select Paladins competed at the Weems Baskin Invitational in Columbia, S.C. Freshman Monica Seitz placed 14th in the 400m with a time of 59.90, while junior Erin MacDevette turned in a time of 1:01.73 for 21st place in the event. Senior Sammy Trone placed 32nd at 1:04.25, and junior Caroline Nguyen was 34th at 1:04.94.
The Paladins will compete in the final day of the Weems Baskin Invitational in Columbia, S.C., on Saturday.
