Christian Kraus has been ranked No. 96 in
Top Drawer Soccer's list of the top 100 players in collegiate men's soccer, it was announced this week.
A native of Fenton, Mo., Kraus paced the Paladins with 10 goals this season and added a team-high five assists to lead the Southern Conference with 25 total points. He netted match-winning goals versus Winthrop and UNC Asheville en route to earning first team All-SoCon honors and United Soccer Coaches All-Region accolades after helping Furman to a 10-6-3 overall record.
Furman scored victories over VMI and Wofford in the SoCon Men's Soccer Championship before falling to Mercer in the championship match last month. Kraus, who netted a hat trick in the tournament opener against the Keydets, was named to the All-SoCon Tournament squad.
Also a standout in the classroom, the redshirt junior was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team following the 2023 season.
