AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Due to inclement weather, Sunday's round three of the Valsar Augusta Invitational at the par 72, 6,244 yard Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga., was suspended mid-round. The tournament is complete at 36 holes, and scores reverted to Saturday's scores.
Freshman Faith Johnson (+1) tied for 14th to pace the Paladins, followed by sophomore Chloe Johnson (+2) in 22nd place.
Sixth-ranked Rachel Kuehn (-10) of Wake Forest won the tournament by three strokes after recording rounds of 68-66=134 to lead the No. 2 Demon Deacons (-13) to the team title. Furman (+23) finished in 11th place, ahead of Power 5 opponent Virginia Tech (12th +28).
Furman will compete at the Clemson Invitational March 24-26 at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C.
