Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team raises the curtain on its 2023 home schedule Sunday when it hosts former Southern Conference rival Georgia Southern. Kickoff at Stone Soccer Stadium is slated for 3 p.m.

The Paladins opened the 2023 campaign with a 1-0 victory at Presbyterian on Thursday evening. Valentina Mosquera broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 56^th minute and senior Addison Corn stopped three shots to earn the shutout in goal.
 
Furman holds a 19-8-1 lead in the all-time series versus Georgia Southern and claimed a 2-0 decision in the most recent matchup on October 25, 2013, in Greenville. The Eagles opened their season on Thursday night with an impressive 2-0 victory over UAB in Birmingham, Ala.
 
Following Sunday's contest, the Paladins continue their homestand on Thursday evening at Stone Stadium versus North Greenville.
