Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team opens Southern Conference play this week when it hosts ETSU at Stone Stadium on Thursday at 7 p.m. before traveling to face Western Carolina in Cullowhee, N.C., Sunday at 1 p.m.

Thursday's home match marks the 19
th meeting in the all-time series between the Paladins and Bucs with Furman holding a 16-2-0 series lead. Furman downed ETSU, 2-1, in last year's meeting in Johnson City, Tenn. The Bucs also claimed a victory over South Carolina State in its last outing.
Entering Sunday, Furman holds a 22-8-1 series advantage versus Western Carolina and conquered the Catamounts by a 2-0 score in Cullowhee last season.
