GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman's women's basketball team will look to bounce back Saturday when it plays host to Mercer in a 2:00 p.m. Southern Conference clash at Timmons Arena.
The contest, which will highlight Alumni Weekend for the program, will be streamed via ESPN+ and also include StatBroadcast live stats. Â Fans can also follow the action thru "X" at @FurmanWBB.
Furman (11-9, 1-3 SoCon) is coming off a 66-60 loss to Samford in the Paladins' home league opener on Thursday. Â A late rally in the fourth quarter saw the Paladins rally from a 14-point deficit to get within four points late before the Bulldogs iced the game at the free throw line.

Niveya Henley moved into the starting lineup against Samford and paced Furman with 13 points, and
Sydney Ryan finished with 11.
Mercer (8-13, 2-3 SoCon) succumbed to a Wofford fourth quarter rally on Thursday in a 65-64 loss in Spartanburg despite a 24-point performance by graduate transfer guard Deja Williams.
Furman will look to get its balanced attack going again against Bears.  The Paladins boast five double figure scorers, led by  junior forwards
Jada Session (12.6 ppg) and
Kate Johnson (11.8 ppg), and sophomore wing
Sydney Ryan (11.5 ppg), as well as Henley (11.1 pg) and redshirt junior
Tate Walters (10.0 ppg).
Session tops the league in rebounding (9.1 rpg).
