Greenville, S.C. – Unbeaten in its last eight matches, Furman women's soccer travels to Johnson City, Tenn., on Sunday afternoon to face ETSU in a key Southern Conference contest.

The Paladins, 6-4-3 overall and 2-0-2 in the SoCon, downed UNC Greensboro, 1-0, on Thursday evening on
Maddie Massie's second goal of the season. Freshman
Reese DeJong, making her first league start in goal, stopped four shots to record her second clean sheet of the year.
ETSU topped Wofford, 3-0, on Thursday to improve to 3-6-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the league. Furman holds a 16-2-1 series lead in 19 previous meetings versus the Bucs, including a 3-0-1 mark in the last four encounters. Last season, the schools played to a scoreless draw in Greenville.
Following Sunday's road test, the Paladins return to Stone Soccer Stadium on Thursday, October 17, to host the Chattanooga Mocs.
