Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team, idle since a 4-2 upset of nationally-ranked College of Charleston on September 17, returns to action Tuesday night when it travels to face the USC Upstate Spartans at County University Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.
Tuesday's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+. Links for the live stream and live statistics can be found at FurmanPaladins.com.
Following their road win at CofC, Furman (3-2-2) had its September 25 home match versus Gardner-Webb canceled due to inclement weather and an October 5 match against Wofford postponed by Hurricane Helene. The Paladins hold a 10-4-3 series lead in 17 previous meetings versus USC Upstate and claimed a 2-0 victory over the Spartans in Greenville last season behind goals from
Jake Raine and
Christian Kraus.
The Spartans are 1-10 on the season and 0-3 in Big South Conference play after dropping a 4-1 decision to High Point this past weekend.
