Furman enters the match at 5-4-3 overall and 1-0-2 in the SoCon after earning a 1-1 draw at Samford on Sunday afternoon. The Paladins have posted an unbeaten 4-0-3 record in their last seven outings and have scored at least one goal in all 12 matches this season with 12 different players registering at least one goal.

Thursday's showdown will mark the 42nd meeting on the pitch between Furman and UNCG with the Spartans holding a 19-18-4 series lead. Entering this week's match, UNCG is 4-5-3 overall but 3-0-1 in league play. The Spartans stretched their unbeaten streak to five matches with a 2-0 win over Wofford on Sunday afternoon.

Following Thursday night's match, Furman travels to Johnson City, Tenn., to face ETSU on Sunday at 1 p.m.
