Furman Volleyball Signs Three For 2025 Season

Paladins Announce Additions Of Dodson, Moore, Watson

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman head volleyball coach Michelle Young has announced the addition of three newcomers who will be joining the Paladins beginning with the 2025 season.

The 2025 newcomers consist of Ashtan Dodson, Kacie Moore, and Amber Watson. The three student-athletes hail from the states of North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas, respectively.

"We are very excited to have these three talented young ladies joining us in 2025," stated Young. "They are a very dynamic group that we think can make an immediate impact. They are serious competitors, and we are so happy they have chosen Furman! We can't wait to have them here next year."

Dodson is a 5-9 outside hitter from San Antonio, Texas, who competes for head coach Mike Carter at Cornerstone Christian School. She is a two-time All-State selection while also garnering first team All-District accolades. Dodson has been selected district Co-Most Valuable Player during her prep career. On the club circuit, she played for Alamo VBA, Alamo 15 Premier, Alamo 16 Premier, and Alamo 17 Premier.

Moore is a 6-2 middle blocker from Charlotte, N.C., and plays for head coach Emma Beacham at Cox Mill High School. She competes at the club level for Carolina UVC.

Watson is a 6-0 outside hitter from North Canton, Ohio, and presently attends Archbishop Hoban High School where she plays for head coach Jim Malood. She was a first team All-Ohio performer this past season for Archbishop and earned Division 3 Player of the Year honors. Watson also garnered All-Division and All-District accolades during her senior season. As a junior, she was an honorable mention All-Ohio selection and received All-District citations. Watson plays club ball for Academy Volleyball Club.
