Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team will look to snap a two-game skid and even its record at 2-2 when it hosts former Southern Conference foe Davidson in a 1:30 p.m. non-conference clash Sunday on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.
Live Statistics for the match will be available through StatBroadcast at FurmanPaladins.com. The contest will not be streamed. Sunday's match is Furman's Back to School game. Paladin students will have the opportunity to pick up school supplies and snacks at Stone Stadium.
The Paladins dropped to 1-2-0 with a 2-1 loss to Presbyterian on Thursday evening. Defender
Ellie Herrmann erased a 1-0 Blue Hose lead with a second half goal, but Presbyterian scored on a free kick less than 11 minutes later to secure the win.
Furman holds a 23-9-3 lead in the all-time series versus Davidson. The teams have not met since 2022 when the Wildcats edged the Paladins 1-0. Davidson (0-1-0) has been idle since suffering a 1-0 loss to VMI in its season opener on August 15.
