UNCG moved to 2-8-1 overall and 1-1-1 in league play with a 2-2 draw versus the Chattanooga Mocs on Friday. Thursday marks the 43
rd all-time meeting between Furman and UNCG, who have combined for 19 SoCon regular season title and 16 tournament crowns since 1995. The series is even at 19-19-4. Furman claimed a 1-0 decision in last year's lone meeting on October 10 in Greenville behind a first-half goal from Massie.
After concluding its three-game road trip at UNCG, Furman returns home on Sunday to host Samford at 2 p.m. on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium. Both Thursday and Sunday's matches will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live statistics available through StatBroadcast at FurmanPaladins.com.
