GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman Paladins and Palmetto Sports (WHNS & Gray Media) are partnering to bring Furman Athletics to the airwaves in the western Carolinas and northeastern Georgia, it was announced today.
The partnership, which will make Palmetto Sports/Fox Carolina the official television station and weather partner of Furman Athletics, will allow local sports fans to watch select Paladin football and men's and women's basketball games live over the air on WHNS 21.2, on Spectrum 703, and most other cable systems serving viewers in the area.
Saturday's 2:00 p.m. Furman-East Tennessee State football game in Paladin Stadium will kick off the partnership.

Palmetto Sports is a division of WHNS FOX Carolina. In addition to the broadcast partnership, FOX Carolina First Alert Weather is now the official weather partner of the Furman Paladins.
