GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman women's cross country teams will run in Queens' Royals Cross Country Challenge Friday at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C. The Paladins will compete in the gold 5K race at 5 p.m.
Furman runners who are slated to compete in Charlotte include seniors Clair Garrett and Emma Jones; sophomores Joiner Evans, Anna Graves, and Katie Sobieraj; and freshmen Kate Bannigan and Avery Belk.
The Paladins were picked to win their 13th-straight SoCon title in 2025. Last season Furman captured five of the top ten individual spots at the 2024 league meet, extending their SoCon record with a 12th-straight team title, the nation's longest active conference winning streak on the women's side.
