Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team will host East Tennessee State in Friday night's annual "Pink Game" for breast cancer awareness on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium.
Kickoff for the crucial Southern Conference women's soccer showdown is set for 7 p.m. and admission is free. The match will be live streamed on ESPN+ and links for the video stream and live statistics are available at FurmanPaladins.com.
The first 150 Furman students through the gates will receive a free t-shirt to support breast cancer awareness. The Furman women's soccer family has been affected by cancer in several ways in recent years and wants to raise awareness while supporting the battle against this hideous disease and continuing to support friends and family members in their battles.
Friday's SoCon showdown features the Paladins, who enter the night at 8-2-3 overall and 2-1-2 in league play, hosting first-place ETSU, who is 8-2-4 overall and undefeated in conference play at 3-0-2. The Paladins and Bucs are meeting for the 22
nd time with Furman holding an 18-2-1 series advantage. Last season, Furman claimed a 1-0 decision versus ETSU in Johnson City, Tenn., during the regular season before eliminating the Bucs in the quarterfinal round of the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship with a 2-1 victory in Homewood, Ala.
Last time out, the Paladins rallied from behind twice with goals from

Briyah Drayton to forge a 2-2 draw versus defending league tournament champion Samford. The Bucs, unbeaten in their last 10 matches, played to a 1-1 draw versus Chattanooga on Sunday afternoon.
