GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman women's basketball team closes out the 2025 portion of its schedule on Turesday when it plays host to Brevard in a 7:00 p.m. contest at Timmons Arena.

Furman (6-7), which is coming off a 82-66 loss at Florida on Sunday, has won its last three home games and is 5-2 on the season in newly renovated Timmons Arena.
Winners of four of its last five games, Brevard (8-3) will see its first action since downing Methodist, 82-60, on Dec. 17.
Furman leads the all-time series 8-4, is 6-2 versus the Tornados in Greenville, and has won the last four meetings, including a 102-30 triumph during the 2022-23 season.
The Paladins competed well in Sunday's contest at Florida trailing 51-48 with three minutes remaining in the third quarter before the Gators closed out the period with a 10-5 run to gain the upper hand.
Clare Coyle paced Furman with 20 points, and
Alyssa Ervin, making only her second start of the season, delivered a quality performance with 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting, including 2-of-5 from 3-point range.
Coyle leads the Paladins in scoring (14.8 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 rpg), followed by Ervin (12.2 ppg).
Although hurt by 24 turnovers, which Florida converted into 33 points, Furman outebounded the Gators, 46-34, led by sophomore
Kyraha Parnell's eight boards.
Furman wraps up non-conference play with a 1:00 p.m. Saturday contest versus Bob Jones before tipping off Southern Conference play at ETSU on Jan. 8.
