Rio Grande, Puerto Rico -- Sophomore Audrey Ryu (-4) is tied for fourth to lead the Furman women's golf team after Monday's second round of the Puerto Rico Classic, which is being hosted by Purdue at the par 72, 6,305 yard Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Ryu, who hails from Dublin, Ohio, teed off on No. 8 in the shotgun start and posted three-consecutive birdies from No. 10 through No. 12.  She added a final birdie on No. 6 to finish the day with a 74 and is just two shots out of first place.  Northwestern's Lauryn Nguyen (-6) leads the field with a two-day total of 69-69=138.

Freshman Eva Ringwald (+4) shot even par to lead the Paladins on Monday.  She recorded three birdies and moved into a tie for 45th.  Sophomore Kelsi Mauzy (+7) notched a team-high five birdies, including back to back birdies on No. 17 and No. 18.  She is tied for 72nd after finishing Monday's round with a 74.  Senior Alise Knudson (+9) carded a 79 with a birdie on No. 3 to tie for 82nd, while freshman Jenna Madden (+16) shot an 81 with a birdie on No. 2 to tie for 96th. 

Vanderbilt (-11) extended its lead to five strokes over Ole Miss (-6).  Arkansas (-4) moved into third place, followed by Northwestern (-3) in fourth.  Auburn (+4) and LSU (+4) are tied for fifth place.  The Paladins (+16) are in 14th pace. 

The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday with a 7:30 am shotgun start.  The Paladins will tee off  on No. 12 through No. 15 and will play in a group with host Purdue, Minnesota, and Kent State.
