Greenville, S.C. – Midfielder Bri Pinasco, a Columbia, S.C., native and transfer from the University of South Carolina, has joined the Furman women's soccer roster for the upcoming season, Paladin head coach
Andrew Burr announced.
Pinasco joins the Paladins after playing two seasons with the Gamecocks and has two years of eligibility remaining. She appeared in 10 matches over the past two seasons for South Carolina and netted her lone career goal in a 2023 victory over Coastal Carolina.
"Bri is an excellent addition to the Furman family," said Burr. "She fits well with our team in the locker room and fits well academically at Furman University. We are excited to have her on the pitch at Stone Stadium this fall."
A graduate of Hammond High School, Pinasco led her prep team to a pair of state runner-up finishes and earned player of the year honors in 2022. As a standout for SC United in the ECNL, she led her team to three conference championships while capturing player of the year honors in 2021.
Pinasco has participated with the Argentina National Team at the U-17 and U20 levels. Her dad (Adrian) played for Boca Juniors in Argentina while her mother (Jennifer) played college soccer at Newberry. Pinasco's grandfather (Carlos) was a member of the Argentinian National Team.
